In 2021, my first web assignment was to design Haiti Cultural Exchange's website. At the time, they were operating on a decade-old blog that, on levels both visual and technical, had become outdated—in a way, this became a design problem as the inaccessibility got in the way of the heart and spirit that went into every post they made and event they promoted online.
For this project, I was tasked to create pages and sections that were cohesive with their tone and existing brand guidelines, while taking into account site responsiveness and the different ways the pages could change. I was also tasked to design 50 static pages to feature HCX's resident artists.
